Sertar Monastery

Sertar Monastery is a cultural heritage site protected by Zaduo County.

Sertar Monastery is located in Zhage Village, Sahuteng Town, Zaduo County. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural site.

On July 13, 2018, Sertar Monastery was included in the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units of Zaduo County.

Sahuteng Town: Jiezha Township is located in the eastern part of the county, with the county government seat (the township government is 30 kilometers from the county government). The population is 7,000 (including urban residents under county jurisdiction), predominantly Tibetan, accounting for 95.7% of the total population, along with Han, Tu, Hui, Mongolian, and other ethnic groups. The area covers 2,434 square kilometers. It administers four pastoral committees: Hongqi, Duona, Zhagou, and Shaqing.
