The Wutai County Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination.

The Wutai County Martyrs' Cemetery was built in 1976, covering an area of 18.3 mu. It is located in Xizhuang Village, Tai Cheng Town, faces east with its back to the west, and consists of three parts: the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument, the Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall, and the Exhibition Hall of the Wutai People’s Anti-Japanese and Liberation Struggle History. The Revolutionary Martyrs Monument, standing majestically in the center of the cemetery, is modeled after the Monument to the People’s Heroes in Tiananmen Square. It features a bluestone base, bluestone railings, and a white marble body. The front is inscribed with an epigraph by Marshal Nie Rongzhen, while the back bears an inscription by Marshal Xu Xiangqian. The Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall has a total floor area of 260 square meters. The ashes of Marshal Xu Xiangqian are enshrined inside, and the walls are engraved with the names of 2,445 martyrs. The main exhibits on the north and south walls showcase the great achievements of the Wutai people during the Anti-Japanese War and the Liberation War, as well as some important historical relics. Other items include an inscription by General Yang Chengwu and facsimiles of the original “Anti-Enemy Newspaper” published by the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Region, all of which are precious historical artifacts. It is now recognized as a Shanxi Provincial Patriotic Education Base.
