Baiyun Park in Guiyang City is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Baiyun Park is currently the most developed, content-rich, and well-known attraction in Baiyun District. It boasts comprehensive advantages such as well-established infrastructure, diverse scenic features, a prime location, and convenient transportation.

Baiyun Park is located 16 kilometers northwest of the city, covering an area of 45 hectares with 9.6 hectares of water surface. It is a park jointly operated by the state and collective entities, characterized by a blend of traditional style, modern elements, and ethnic charm. The park integrates landscapes of mountains, water, and forests, along with connected pavilions, towers, and terraces, creating an elegant and picturesque setting. After more than a decade of development, it now features over 10 scenic spots, including the Cherry Blossom Square, Chen Baiqiu Timber Art Gallery, China Kite Art Museum, Lifeng High-Tech Flower Industry Base, Children’s Playground, Water Play Area, Martyrs’ Cemetery, Islamic Hall, and a European medieval castle, among other attractions and recreational facilities. Thanks to events like the Kite Festival and Orchid Festival, the park has attracted a significant number of visitors and has become a popular weekend getaway for Guiyang residents. Its identity as a cultural and arts park is taking shape, offering a distinct style compared to other parks like Riverside Park and Qianling Park. According to the national tourist attraction star-rating criteria, Baiyun Park is expected to apply for national AAA-level status.
