Tongji Bridge, also known as Hui Water Bridge, according to the Qianlong edition of the "Supplementary Gazetteer of Quwo County": "Hui Water Bridge is the site where Duke Ping of Jin and Duke Jing of Qi met; it is now called Tongji Bridge. Donated by local residents such as Xing Shi, it was rebuilt in the Jin era." It was renovated multiple times during the Yuan and Qing dynasties.

Tongji Bridge is built over the Hui Water River, with Shangma Village to the south and Nanbao Village to the north. The bridge runs from north to south and is an open-spandrel seven-arch stone bridge constructed from yellow sandstone blocks. The total length of the bridge deck is 107.78 meters, with a width of 17.79 meters and a height of 8.03 meters. The bridge arches are arched in shape, with a clear span of 7.48 meters, a rise of 0.75 meters, and a spacing between arches of 14.12 to 15.25 meters. The inner arch stones are built from 36 layers of yellow sandstone slabs. The front side of each arch is composed of arch face stones, skewback stones, and skew stones. There are 17 layers of voussoir stones between each arch. A water-spouting beast extends from the tread stone above each arch keystone. Below the arches are dividing water retaining walls and pointed cutwaters, beneath which lies the bridge foundation. The overall bridge deck is slightly arched and was originally paved with sandstone but is now asphalt. Stone-carved balustrades are installed on the skew stones on both sides.

Xintian Township: Longquan Town is located in Xixian County, Shanxi Province. It was formed in April 2001 during a restructuring of towns and townships, merging the former Chengguan Town and Beizhuang Township of Xixian County. It is situated in the central part of Xixian County and the Zichuan Valley, at 110°54′44″ east longitude and 36°41′30″ north latitude. To the east of the urban area is Duijin Mountain, to the west is Fenghuang Mountain, to the north is Wulihou Village, and to the south is Jieguanping. It spans 1.5 kilometers from east to west and 4.5 kilometers from north to south. The Zichuan River and the Gucheng River converge and flow through the area.
