The Temple of Goddess Kunrou is a cultural tourism attraction.

Introduction: The Temple of Goddess Kunrou is located on an earthen wall in Xiexi Village, about 8 kilometers northeast of Ji County, Shanxi Province. It was first built in the first year of the Tiansheng era of the Song Dynasty (1023), renovated in the seventh year of the Yuanzhen era of the Yuan Dynasty (1320), and partially reconstructed in the fourth year of the Longqing era of the Ming Dynasty (1570). The surviving Hall of Goddess Kunrou is a relic from the Yuan Dynasty. The hall is three bays wide and three bays deep, with a single-eave hip-and-gable roof. The interior features reduced columns, with four golden columns moved to the secondary bays. The column capitals are adorned with large bracket arms, and there are two layers of architraves arranged in upper and lower positions, forming a grid-like beam structure. The lower layer includes oblique beams, while the upper layer has lintels and purlins. The front, rear, and side eaves, as well as the gables, are supported by climbing beams, with the central load borne by bracket sets that support hanging lotus columns, forming an open and airy caisson ceiling. The ingenious structure is rarely seen in ancient Chinese architecture.
