The Shimian Ancient Tea Horse Road is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Sichuan Province.

Era: Qing Dynasty

In 2012, the Shimian Ancient Tea Horse Road was designated as part of the eighth batch of Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.

1. Mengzhong Fort

Protection Zone: extends from the Buddha Sunning Site in the north to cultivated land in the south, from the group-access road in the east to the cliff edge in the west.

Construction Control Area: 50 meters beyond the protection zone.

2. Muer Fort

Protection Zone: extends from the scripture hall in the north to cultivated land in the south, from the large walnut tree at the village entrance in the west to cultivated land in the east.

Construction Control Area: 50 meters beyond the protection zone.

3. Xieluo Fort

Protection Zone: extends from the group-access road in the north to the “Huan Shan Ji Festival” worship site in the south, from Jiangba Gully in the east to the racetrack in the west.

Construction Control Area: 50 meters beyond the protection zone.
