Location: Yangrong · Had Tibetan Village is situated in the heart of the "Larch Forest," a premium scenic spot in the Eighty-Li Colorful Forest Area of Shashi Duo Township, Heishui County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It lies east of National Highway 347, 18 kilometers from the county seat of Heishui. It borders the vast Hongyuan Grassland to the north and faces the majestic Dagu Glacier to the east. Located on the tourism loop of "Jiuzhaigou–Huanglong–Grassland–Glacier," it is an undeveloped ecological tourism gem. The area boasts lush vegetation, abundant sunshine, and a beautiful ecological environment, making it an ideal destination for rural tourism and vacationing.
Climate: The region features a plateau climate with distinct dry and rainy seasons, ample sunshine, small annual temperature variations but large daily fluctuations. There is no intense summer heat, and winters are not severely cold, with an average annual temperature of 9.5°C.
Resources: In the overall planning of Yangrong Had, five streets have been designated for different functions—one for bars and tea houses, one for dining, one for selling tourist goods, and the remaining two for accommodation. Each household has 5–6 guest rooms. Once fully operational, the village can accommodate approximately 500 visitors per day. During its trial run in mid-October 2015, about 80 guests could be received daily. Here, guests can join locals in dancing Guozhuang, singing Tibetan songs, tasting barley wine, and experiencing the rich folk culture of Heishui. They can also enjoy locally raised phoenix-tailed chicken, Tibetan pork, and honey from ABA Chinese bees.
