Changlie Monastery is a cultural tourism attraction.

Changlie Monastery is located on the mountain in Yingboluo Village, Barkam Town, at a vertical height of 900 meters above the valley and an altitude of 3,300 meters. It was first established in the 1340s as a monastery of the Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism. With a history of over 700 years, it is one of the well-known Nyingma monasteries. Unfortunately, it was destroyed during [a historical event], but was rebuilt in the 1980s on the foundation of the old monastery.

The new monastery complex consists of a six-story main hall, four monk dormitory buildings, a monastery guesthouse, and a visitor reception area. The first floor of the main hall houses the Grand Scripture Hall, the second floor contains the Lecture Hall, the third floor is the Scripture Depository, the fourth floor is a multimedia classroom, the fifth floor is the Golden Buddha Hall, and the sixth floor is an exhibition hall. The rooftop features a golden spire. The monastery is situated in a spacious area with beautiful surroundings, including snow-capped mountains, alpine meadows, and pristine forests. As the saying goes: "In spring, the sacred mountain blooms with azaleas; in summer, it is covered with a green carpet; in autumn, its colorful forests shine brilliantly; and in winter, it offers a chance to connect with Buddha."
