Mupuozi is located at the northern foothills of Mount Siguniang. It is a

-meter-wide meadow, vast and flat, the most botanically diverse area in the scenic zone, ideal for horseback riding, flower viewing, and camping. The alpine meadows and marshes of Mupuozi are surrounded by dark coniferous forests, primarily composed of Sichuan fir, forming a spectacular plant landscape. The area is home to highland endemic plants such as Saussurea, Saussurea medusa, Anemarrhena asphodeloides, and Rhodiola rosea. It is also a habitat for rare and unique high-altitude wildlife including blue sheep, snow leopards, Himalayan marmots, the white-winged redstart, the alpine accentor, and certain large birds of prey.
