hectares. Daze Lake has rippling blue waters, abundant aquatic plants, and forests encircling the shore. In Tibetan, Daze Lake is called “Cuogian.” When you come to the lakeshore, be sure not to speak loudly. If your voice is too loud, it can disturb the airflow over the lake, which may instantly condense into rain and leave you nowhere to hide.

The Daze Lake area is home to shrubs from the Rosaceae family, rhododendron thickets, and alpine meadows, featuring a variety of highland flowers such as primroses, asters, and meconopsis. It also boasts valuable medicinal herbs like caterpillar fungus, Sichuan fritillary bulb, and Notopterygium. Wildlife such as Tibetan partridges, grey-headed thrushes, foxes, takins, ruddy shelducks, and little egrets thrive in this vast expanse of meadows, water bodies, and shrublands.
