The "5.12" Wenchuan Earthquake Yingxiu Epicenter Memorial Hall is situated in Yuzixi Village along National Highway 213. Designed by Academician He Jingtang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the building spans 4,800 square meters. Construction commenced in December 2009, and it was officially opened to the public on May 12, 2012, featuring an exhibition space of 4,000 square meters. Through a wealth of textual, photographic, and video materials, as well as multimedia and dynamic panoramic displays, the memorial vividly presents the wise decisions made by the Party Central Committee during the earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction efforts, the heartfelt support from all sectors of society, and the resilient, grateful, and determined spirit of the affected communities. In addition to promoting the spirit of disaster relief and showcasing the achievements of reconstruction, the memorial also emphasizes earthquake education, advocating proactive response and prevention. Interactive games provide visitors—especially youths—with a deeper understanding of how to take shelter and administer first aid during earthquakes, thereby reinforcing seismic knowledge and achieving educational goals. Since its opening, the memorial has actively engaged in social science initiatives to foster and strengthen the socialist ethnic relationships of equality, unity, mutual assistance, and harmony. As a national patriotic education demonstration base, the Yingxiu Epicenter Memorial Hall adheres to the service philosophy of "serving visitors and setting new standards for the industry." It highlights contemporary themes, celebrates patriotism, and organizes various educational activities centered on patriotic values.

Services Comprising five sections: the Introductory Hall, the Devastating Destruction of the Massive Earthquake Exhibition, the United Efforts in Earthquake Relief Exhibition, the Self-Reliant and Scientific Reconstruction Exhibition, and the Scientific Response to Earthquake Prevention and Mitigation Exhibition.
