Seasonal Sea

Seasonal Sea is divided into Upper Seasonal Sea and Lower Seasonal Sea. The Lower Seasonal Sea is nestled in a mountain hollow lush with flowers and grass, while the Upper Seasonal Sea lies adjacent to the Five-Color Pond. Its water level fluctuates with the seasons, sometimes full and sometimes dry. During the autumn rainy season, the lake swells and turns a deep blue, while in summer, when the water is shallow, it appears emerald green. After early winter, the lake dries up, and the lakebed becomes covered with green grass, turning the sea into a grazing meadow where a United Nations Class I protected plant—Rohacevic—grows.
