Neijiang Ten-Mile Leisure Corridor

The Neijiang Ten-Mile Leisure Corridor is located in the urban-rural fringe of the downtown area. It starts from Taizi Lake in Qianjin Village, Jiaotong Township, continues along Shuanghe Village in Baima Town, and extends to Simiao Sugar Cane Forest, spanning a total length of 10 kilometers. Covering an area of 13 square kilometers, it is based on the display of the Shuanghe Ten-Mile Scenic Area, the Tuojiang Sugar Cane Forest, and surrounding natural landscapes. It also draws on the origins of sugar culture and the history of Taizi Stele, aiming to explore and develop historical culture centered around the Taizi Stele and agrarian culture rooted in ancient sugar-making industries. This enriches the corridor with profound cultural significance and enhances its vitality. Attractions along the route include Taizi Lake Scenic Area, Taizi Mountain Villa, Shuanghe Eco-Leisure Park, the Taoist Culture of Daliang Mountain, the Sugar Cane Forest along the Tuojiang River, the Yi Ethnic Culture Garden, Jinzhong Island, and Shipantan Hydropower Station.

The main tourist route runs from Taizi Lake to Shuanghe Ten-Mile Garden to Simiao Sugar Cane Forest, stretching 10 kilometers in total. A secondary water route travels along the Tuojiang River from Daliang Mountain, passing through Jinzhong Island to Shipantan. There are numerous farm stays (nongjiale), making it a great destination for leisure vacations.
