Huoshen Temple

[Xinghua Street, Nanxing Town • Qing Dynasty • Municipal (County) Cultural Relics Protection Unit] was built in the second year of the Xianfeng reign during the Qing Dynasty (1852) and renovated during the Republican era. It faces south and covers an area of approximately 1,939 square meters. The layout follows a traditional courtyard style, with the front hall, main hall, and east side room well-preserved. The structure is made of wood, with a construction area of about 400 square meters. The front hall is five bays wide (21.4 meters) and two bays deep (7.1 meters), with a total height of 4 meters. It features a post-and-lintel beam frame and a flush gable roof. The eave pillars are 4 meters high with a diameter of 0.21 meters. The main hall is a two-story building: the ground floor is five bays wide (21.3 meters) and three bays deep (17.5 meters); the upper floor is three bays wide (13 meters) and two bays deep plus a corridor (3.7 meters), with the corridor being 1.2 meters wide, and a total height of 9.5 meters. The eave pillars are 3.5 meters high with a diameter of 0.24 meters. It also has a post-and-lintel beam frame and a hip-and-gable roof. The east side room is three bays wide (12 meters) and two bays deep (3.4 meters). It was designated as a Deyang Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit in June 2006.
