The Xia Liushao Yan Stele is a cultural relics protection unit of Guanghan City.

Xia Liushao Yan Stele

[500m northeast of Lao Hui Village, Lianshan Town • Qing Dynasty • Municipal (County) Cultural Relics Protection Unit] Made of bluish-grey sandstone, the three stelae are arranged in a straight line, facing west, with the central stele being relatively better preserved, while the two on the sides showing severe weathering. The middle stele stands 2.2 meters high, 0.95 meters wide, and 0.10 meters thick. The left and right stelae are each 2.2 meters high, 0.40 meters wide, and 0.10 meters thick. The inscriptions are carved vertically in regular script, in both large and small characters — the large characters are 6 cm in diameter with 4 cm spacing, and the small ones 4 cm in diameter with 2 cm spacing. The content documents the construction process of the Xia Liushao Yan irrigation system, as well as the water regulations for various sections along its route. It was designated as a Municipal (County) Cultural Relics Protection Unit of Guanghan City in July 1990.
