[in Fanghu Park, Luocheng Town • 1941 • Municipal (County) Cultural Relics Protection Unit] On July 7, 1941, the fourth anniversary of the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, Guanghan County erected this monument to commemorate soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the War of Resistance. The monument is a square brick-and-stone structure, standing 5.5 meters tall overall, with each side of the main body measuring 0.48 meters and a height of 3 meters. The three sides are inscribed in running script relief with the words “Monument to Soldiers Fallen in the War of Resistance,” signed “July 7, Thirty Years of the Republic of China.” The base is a square Sumeru pedestal, 1.5 meters high, with relief carvings depicting scenes from the war of resistance on all four sides. The monument is surrounded by stone railings. During restoration, a list of fallen soldiers and an inscribed record were added in front of the monument. It remains well-preserved. In June 2006, it was designated as a Deyang Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
