Xiwang Tomb Cluster (First Batch of Provincial Protected Sites)

Era: Shang-Zhou Dynasty

Location: Northeast of Xiwang Village, Nanzhang Town, Zhangzi County

The cemetery slopes from north to south, stretching about 400 meters from east to west and approximately 250 meters from north to south, covering a total area of around 100,000 square meters. Due to soil extraction by a brick factory, the tomb cluster has been severely damaged. During the 1995 cultural relics survey, four rectangular earthen pit tombs were discovered on a cliff face. The soil was mixed earth, and according to expert investigation, these are ancient tombs from the Shang-Zhou period.
