Dongtai Mountain Temple (Fourth Batch Provincial-Level Protected Site)

The original construction date is unknown. It was renovated during the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty and subsequently repaired in various dynasties. The temple faces west and is spread across three courtyards, covering a total area of approximately 4,000 square meters. Along the central axis are successively built the mountain gate, double-story tower, theater stage, offering pavilion, main hall, rear hall, and other seven structures. On both sides are the bell and drum towers, side rooms, north and south 0 (dressing towers), north and south hanging flower gates, auxiliary halls, corridors, and side chambers—all of which are remnants from the Ming Dynasty.

The main hall is three bays wide and six rafters deep, with a single-eave hanging gable roof. The eave columns and column-top lintels are made of large-sized materials. On the main ridge of the roof is an inscription reading “Renovated in the 19th Year of the Jiaqing Reign.”
