In 2012, the Qu Gong Cantilever Bridge was designated as part of the Eighth Batch of Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.

Protected area: 200 meters beyond the site boundary.

Construction control zone: 20 meters beyond the protected area. (Note: As there is a road 20 meters to the southeast, this 20-meter section is a key protected area, with the outer 180 meters defined as a general protected area).
