The Jiangjin Section of the Chongqing-Guizhou Ancient Trail

The Jiangjin Section of the Chongqing-Guizhou Ancient Trail is a Chongqing Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

The Jiangjin Section of the Chongqing-Guizhou Ancient Trail is located along the trail from Feilong Temple to Xiyukou in Hongtong Village, Simianshan Town, Jiangjin District, dating back to the Qing Dynasty. It includes one section of ancient trail, one ancient mountain pass gate, one sculpture site, and six inscribed stone tablets.

In 2019, the Jiangjin Section of the Chongqing-Guizhou Ancient Trail was designated as part of the third batch of Chongqing Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government.

Hongtong Village: Hongtong Village in Simianshan, Jiangjin, Awarded National Title for Distinctive Landscape Tourism

A national symposium on distinctive landscape tourism towns and villages was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, where awards were presented to the first and second batches of National Distinctive Landscape Tourism Towns and Villages. Hongtong Village in Simianshan Town, Jiangjin District, was included among the National Distinctive Landscape Tourism Villages and attended the award ceremony on-site.
