The Shizha Ancient Architectural Complex is a Chongqing Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Shizha Ancient Architectural Complex is located in Zhuantang, Dongxi, and Gaizi of Shizha Town, Jiangjin District, dating back to the Qing Dynasty. It includes the Zhang Family Ancestral Hall, the Liu Family Ancestral Hall, and the Daiyun Hall.

In 2019, the Shizha Ancient Architectural Complex was designated as part of the third batch of Chongqing Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government.

Shizha Town: Located in the western part of Jiangjin City, Chongqing, at the junction of Chongqing, Sichuan, and Guizhou (three provinces/cities), Shizha Town is over 120 kilometers from downtown Chongqing. The town covers an area of 202 square kilometers, governs 3 community neighborhood committees, 16 administrative villages, and has a population of 101,000, including 13,000 urban residents. The terrain of the town consists of plains and shallow hills, with elevations ranging from 190 to 420 meters. It lies within the river valley climate zone of the Yangtze River, featuring abundant rainfall of 1,200 mm annually, a mild climate, a frost-free period of up to 340 days, and an average annual temperature of 18°C.
