Yonglongshan Forest Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Yonglongshan is located in the Yonglong Mountain Range to the west of Nanchuan District, Chongqing, at the junction of urban and rural areas. It is just 3 kilometers from downtown Nanchuan and closely connected to the city’s new urban district. The Yonglongshan area features well-preserved mountain vegetation and fresh air, making it a natural oxygen bar. It serves as an ideal testing ground for exploring new models of integrated urban-rural development in suburban areas and is a prime location for a livable city demonstration zone.

Covering an area of 33.7 hectares, Yonglongshan Forest Park features a 30,000-square-meter entrance landscape square where green trees and lawns are interspersed.

A vibrant 20,000-square-meter flower sea blooms throughout the seasons across the square, creating a picturesque contrast between green trees and colorful blossoms. Key attractions include a 4.5-kilometer hiking trail that takes about 20 minutes to reach the mountaintop, where visitors can enjoy the fresh air of a 280,000-square-meter pristine forest oxygen bar. From the mountaintop, eight scenic pavilions, including Yonglong Pavilion, offer panoramic views of the entire city of Nanchuan. In addition, the park also includes an 8,000-square-meter Jade Lake, basketball and badminton courts, a children’s playground, and supporting facilities such as a star-rated hotel and a reception center currently under construction.

Yonglongshan Forest Park is the first launched project within the "Five Major Projects in One City" of the Yonglongshan Eco-New Town, which also includes high-end residential communities, a five-star hotel, a golf driving range, an ethnic-style commercial street, and a modern sightseeing agriculture destination. The park is completely free and open to the public, offering residents and tourists of Nanchuan a great nearby destination for "ecology, sightseeing, fitness, and recreation."
