Yidu Park

Yidu Park is located on the west side of Masangxi Bridge along the Yangtze River in the Dadukou District, covering a total area of 300 mu (approximately 20 hectares) with a total investment of 150 million yuan, including 60 million yuan for construction costs. It was completed and opened to the public in May 2009.

Yidu Park is situated along the Yangtze River and next to the ancient town of Masangxi. With its superior geographical location, deep cultural and historical roots, sound infrastructure, and convenient transportation — connected by railway, the ring road, and the upcoming riverside expressway — the high-quality public space serves both park staff and the general public directly. It stands as another people’s project for the Dadukou District.

The park is positioned as a sculpture art garden. The innovative development approach to sculpture art will tap into the region’s existing natural and cultural-artistic resources, making the local culture more distinctive and globally appealing. This will establish a new “city landmark” and a new tourism-driven economic growth point for Dadukou District, thereby enhancing Chongqing’s urban cultural image and strengthening the overall strength of Dadukou.

Transportation: The nearest bus stops to Yidu Park are Bayicun Bus Stop and Xinkang Road Bus Stop. Buses passing through Bayicun Bus Stop include Route 225 (Daping – Chenjiaba), Route 235 (Daping – Funuxi), Route 238 (Yudong – Shiqiaopu), Route 836 (Jianqiao Area A – Shiqiaopu – Shuijingliyuan), and Route 489 (Chongqing Radio & TV University – Jianqiao Area A). Buses passing through Xinkang Road Bus Stop include Route 275 (Yangjiaping – Dayan Yi Village – Xinrui Leju).
