Tongnan Agricultural Tourism Resort

The core area of Chongqing Tongnan Agricultural Tourism Resort is located in Tai’an Town, Tongnan District, approximately 9 kilometers from the Tongnan exit of the Suining–Chongqing Expressway. It is a national-level modern agricultural demonstration park that integrates a fruit and vegetable corridor, cultivation model displays, agricultural education for primary and secondary school students, agricultural science popularization, and pastoral sightseeing and wellness. The scenic area features a one-hectare glass “Vegetable Expo Park” showcasing advanced vegetable cultivation methods, high-tech vegetable farming, and over 1,000 rare and exotic fruits and vegetables in the “Chongqing Tongnan Green Vegetable Expo Park.” There is also a “Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Expo Hall” that combines multimedia to present modern agricultural science through the lenses of technology, history, culture, education, and entertainment. Additionally, the Tai’an Farmstead offers functions such as leisure vacations, tourism sightseeing, fruit-picking experiences, cultural heritage preservation, and educational training. Within the core vegetable base area, there are agricultural sightseeing display zones, green dining areas, and leisure reception zones. Various vegetable bases are equipped with sightseeing paths and fishing platforms, allowing visitors to enjoy views of rare flowers and fruits while engaging in various hands-on farming experiences such as picking and fishing.

The scenic area houses over 70 “Tongnan Farmhouse · Guanba Small Village” establishments that integrate agricultural sightseeing, leisure vacations, and farmhouse experiences for visitors to dine, stay, and play. Visitors can also sample the “China Famous Dish” Tai’an Fish, known for being rich yet not greasy, delicious, tender, spicy, and endlessly enjoyable.
