The Congkan Reservoir Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Tongnan District is a national-level water conservancy scenic area. Congkan Reservoir is located in Chongkan Town. The reservoir features high-quality water and abundant aquatic plants. In winter, a large number of wild birds migrate here from the north to spend the season, making it a great spot for bird-watching. Among the birds, besides some common species, there are also rare birds in the Chongqing area such as the scaly-sided merganser and the Eurasian dotterel.
