Haikou Youth Science and Technology Park

The Hainan (Haikou) Youth Activity Center is situated in the Haikou Youth Science and Technology Park by the Century Bridge, seamlessly integrated with Wanlv Park and Century Park. The first phase of the center, the Growth and Development Building, commenced construction in September 2010 and officially opened to the public on September 22, 2012. The building is spacious and bright, with complete facilities and equipment. The Youth Activity Center is among the best in the province, serving as a top-tier, non-profit, comprehensive extracurricular education institution aimed at serving the youth.

The currently completed and operational Growth and Development Building of the Youth Activity Center covers a site area of 5,466 square meters, with a floor area of 10,036 square meters and a height of 12.95 meters (three floors), housing a total of 92 rooms including various classrooms, laboratories, indoor sports courts, and specialized art rooms. The second phase, the Youth Culture and Sports Building, is under preparation and will be able to accommodate nearly 8,000 people for various activities once completed. The center primarily serves young people, offering extracurricular education services such as art training, academic tutoring, and growth counseling. The center has attracted a high-quality teaching staff to provide quality educational services for the youth. It currently has 2,500 registered students.

The newly built Youth Activity Center is a key people's livelihood project and a major initiative for caring about the next generation, undertaken by both the provincial and municipal governments. The operation of the activity center will surely become an important extracurricular education base for inspiring young minds, unlocking potential, nurturing interests, and improving overall quality among the city’s youth, as well as a significant platform for youth quality training and cultural exchange. Building, utilizing, and developing the Youth Activity Center well is a great responsibility and an honorable mission.
