The Mission Hills Haikou Resort is Asia’s largest volcanic mineral spring theme park and a uniquely distinctive hot spring destination in Hainan. Covering an area of over 88,000 square meters and capable of accommodating 5,000 visitors at once, the park consists of three major sections: volcanic mineral springs themed around the styles of the world’s five continents, a uniquely designed spa center, and an outdoor volcanic rock water park.

The park’s design combines classic Chinese and Western architectural styles, drawing inspiration from the Hakka enclosed houses of Fujian, China. The mineral spring welcome lobby and the main spa building are the focal points and highlights of the resort. The volcanic mineral spring area is the largest section of the theme park, spanning 44,000 square meters. It features a total of 150 hot and cold spring pools along with 99 flowing water landscapes. The water comes from natural springs sourced from depths of up to 800 meters underground, with natural temperatures ranging between 15°C and 43°C, and contains a variety of natural mineral components that offer multiple health benefits.

A 500-meter-long “Dragon Ridge Corridor,” entirely constructed from bamboo, connects various themed areas with distinct styles and functions. In the Asian zone, themed springs such as “Tropical Orient” and “Eastern Zen” allow visitors to experience hot springs with characteristics of China, Japan, Korea, India, and other countries. The Oceania zone highlights the ambience of “indigenous Maori” and “forest hot springs,” helping visitors quickly rejuvenate their energy. The Americas zone offers “Scorching Lava,” “Wild West,” and “Amazon Basin,” which have skin-nourishing and fatigue-relieving effects. The Europe zone emphasizes the romance of “Classical Rome,” “Mediterranean Style,” “French Vineyard,” and “Greek Ocean.” The Africa zone’s “Lost City” takes visitors’ imaginations into an unknown world.
