Lujia Village

Lujia Village is located near an important node of the "Two Rivers and Four Lakes" urban water system. It is a natural village along the tourist route of the Reed Flute Cave Scenic Area and on the western bank of Taohua River. With its blue bricks and black tiles, the village exudes an ancient charm; as a riverside settlement, it has a simple and natural beauty; colorful butterflies play among golden rice fields, and lotus ponds under moonlight offer a uniquely picturesque scene. Nestled against mountains and beside water, the village enjoys a beautiful environment. The "Yangjiang Autumn Moon," one of Guilin’s "Eight Ancient Scenic Spots," refers to this very place, and the opening scenery of the movie "Journey to the West" was also filmed here. The village architecture is also quite distinctive, featuring sloped roofs, small blue tiles, lattice windows, white plaster walls, and bluestone slabs—traditional architectural elements of northern Guangxi dwellings.
