Starting from Yangshuo County and heading south along the Guilin-Liuzhou Highway all the way to Tianjia River, this stretch is known as the “Ten-Mile Gallery.” The scenery along the way is stunning, resembling a masterpiece painted by a master artist under a canopy of blue sky and white clouds. Rent a bicycle and enjoy the beautiful rural landscape. The Yangshuo Ten-Mile Gallery is located near Moon Hill in Yangshuo. It is famed for its picturesque scenery along the route, often described as the Yangshuo Ten-Mile Gallery. The area features competing peaks, uniquely shaped rocks, lush forests, and bamboo groves, along with green fields and misty villages. Scenic spots such as Baopu Garden are also scattered throughout, offering a return to simplicity and a reenactment of ancient civilization. Major attractions include “Peach Offering for Longevity,” “Dolphin Emerging from Water,” “Nun Descending the Mountain,” “Flame Mountain,” “Pigsy Sunbathing His Belly,” “Golden Cat Coming Out of the Cave,” “Horse-Elephant Rock,” “Dragon Horn Mountain,” “Monkey’s Worries,” “Camel Crossing the River,” “Qing’e Scenery,” “Ancient Banyan Beauty,” and “Beauty Grooming Herself.” The Moon Hill area within the Ten-Mile Gallery boasts numerous peaks that are rare climbing paradises. Many domestic and international rock climbing experts have climbed here and take pride in doing so. Among the many climbing sites, Moon Hill Cave, Goat Horn Peak, Cliff-Drilling Peak, and Golden Cat Cave Mountain are the most famous, considered classic routes.
