Xiangba Island

Xiangba Island is a river island on the Li River, situated in the golden section where the river boasts the highest concentration of scenic attractions. Spanning over 500 acres with a forest coverage of more than 85%, the island offers authentic and primitive ethnic song and dance performances, a rural “local flavor street,” vibrant flower gardens and vegetable patches, along with a diverse collection of land art pieces exhibited across the island—making it a truly relaxing getaway. Nearby wonders include the Embroidered Mountain Cliff, the Legends of Langzhou, the Peach Blossom Spring Secret Cave, and the Cliffside Hanging Coffins. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by large wooden masks of various shapes, as well as traditional rural equipment such as threshing machines, oil presses, and wine breweries. The island also serves distinctive local cuisine including whole lamb banquets, roasted whole lamb, Li River fish, Xiangba free-range chicken, and homemade rice wine.
