Yangshuo Tianlai · Butterfly Spring is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Butterfly Spring is situated in the prime tourist section of the "Ten-Mile Gallery" within the Moon Hill Scenic Area of Yangshuo, Guilin. It derives its name from a stalactite in a cave that looks remarkably like a butterfly. It is currently the largest live butterfly viewing garden in China, where thousands of butterfly species and tens of thousands of butterflies live in harmony with people, creating a warm and natural atmosphere. It is an ecological tourism site that also combines unique mountains, beautiful waters, serene caves, and pastoral scenery. It enjoys the reputation of “You haven’t truly seen the beauty of Yangshuo until you’ve been to the top of Butterfly Mountain,” making it a quintessential representation of Yangshuo’s landscape.

The main attractions within the Butterfly Spring park include: Butterfly Cave, Butterfly Mountain Waterfall, Butterfly Bridge, Butterfly Mountain Scenic View, Butterfly Encounter, Bee Encounter, and the Butterfly Museum. At Butterfly Spring, besides enjoying the pastoral scenery of Yangshuo, visitors can also watch local cultural performances, witness bee-training skills, and sample free wild honey.

Particularly noteworthy is the Butterfly Encounter within the park. It is currently the largest butterfly garden in China, where colorful butterflies flutter gracefully among lush greenery. Once you step into the Butterfly Encounter, you’ll find yourself irresistibly drawn to “chase flowers and flirt with butterflies,” experiencing the feeling of “dancing with butterflies, endlessly enchanted.” Climbing to the top of Butterfly Mountain offers the best vantage point to overlook the pastoral scenery of Yangshuo — whether under a clear blue sky, amidst misty drizzle, or at sunset when the thin mist enveloping the mountain village is punctuated by wisps of cooking smoke… The park also features high-altitude areas suitable for rock climbing (including a professional 25-meter climbing route), and the second National Rock Climbing Elite Competition was held here.
