Dacheng Hall

Dacheng Hall, also known as the Confucius Temple Hall, stands 18.7 meters tall and covers an area of 777.6 square meters. It is a two-story, double-eaved, hip-and-gable style palace building. The roof is adorned with carvings of auspicious dragons, phoenixes, birds, and beasts. The hall features red walls and yellow tiles, and its front is decorated with 16 exquisitely carved lattice panels depicting patterns of flowers, birds, insects, and fish, vividly colored and incredibly finely crafted. The architectural design of the Beiliu Confucian Temple is ingenious and meticulous, reflecting the artistic style of ancient architecture.
