Luozheng Village, an ordinary settlement at the southern foot of Dayiong Mountain in Beiliu City, has just 586 households and a population of 2,903, with less than 0.8 acres of arable land per capita. Yet, the people of Luozheng, undeterred by hardship, have changed their mindset, strived for progress with determination, and worked diligently to build a prosperous life. They have created one miracle after another, earning the village nationwide acclaim as a “National Ecological Tourism Demonstration Village,” “National Advanced Village in Creating Civilized Villages and Towns,” “National Advanced Village in Ecological Homeland Construction,” “National Green Well-off Village,” and “National Sanitary Village.” Each year, the village attracts over 60,000 spontaneous visitors from all directions.
