Qiuxia Garden

Located about 3 kilometers northwest of the county town and surrounded by rivers on three sides, the garden is embraced by the Xijiang River. Built in the mid-Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, it was planted with lychee trees and various flowers and plants, and features the Youfeng Pavilion. Some ancient trees still remain, and the garden has been further enriched with extensive plantings of peach, plum, and other fruit trees. Now covered in lush greenery and offering a serene environment, it is a wonderful spot for city dwellers to return to and enjoy nature.

The Xijiang River meanders through the three gardens, with a width of about 60 meters. Between Chunxia Garden and Qiuxia Garden, the river takes especially winding turns, with clear waters, uniquely shaped rocks along the banks, dense vegetation, lush trees, and pavilions tucked among the greenery. Amidst the stones and woods, water birds fly low and fishermen fish quietly, creating a rare and tranquil waterside landscape perfect for leisurely enjoyment.
