The Baxun Shell Mound Site is a cultural heritage site protected by Wuming District.

The Baxun Shell Mound Site is located on the banks of Shuixianglong Water at Baxun Village, Luoxu Town, Wuming County. It dates back to the Neolithic Age and is classified as an ancient site.

In 1998, the Baxun Shell Mound Site was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Wuming County.

Baxun Village: Baxun Village is situated in the southern part of Luoxu Town, 16 kilometers from the town government. The village has a total population of 1,848 people, 13 villager groups, and 44 Party members. In recent years, the village Party branch has focused on the actual conditions of the village, aiming to develop modern agriculture, strengthen infrastructure construction, and increase farmers’ income, thereby promoting the healthy and rapid development of various economic and social endeavors.
