Introduction The Fuluo River Waterfall Cluster is located in the heart of the Dawangling Forest Reserve, over 40 kilometers southwest of Baise City. The Fuluo River boasts enchanting scenery with crystal-clear water that remains visible year-round. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city and untouched by industrial pollution, the river winds through the mountains, featuring more than 100 cascading waterfalls over two meters high, creating a series of hundreds of waterfalls of varying heights, widths, and forms. These tiers of waterfalls differ in elevation and shape, resembling delicate and elegant beauty, offering a uniquely charming landscape. The river is rich in fishery resources, with many precious wild species such as yellow eel, flower fish, and yellow mandarin fish commonly seen. Dawangling is abundant in natural resources, including diverse flora and fauna. The mountain vegetation throughout Dawangling is well-preserved, lush and green, offering a refreshing atmosphere. The forest is also home to many rare tree species, exotic flowers and plants, as well as unique wildlife — such as the tree fern, a national first-class protected plant that coexisted with dinosaurs, protected animals like the pangolin and masked palm civet, the rare civet cat, and the red-feathered chicken known for its medicinal value.
