Bose FuLu River National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Guangxi Bose FuLu River National Wetland Park is located in Youjiang District, Bose City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, covering a total area of 659.0 hectares. The park lies in the connecting area between Longjing Subdistrict and Daleng Township, stretching 9.2 kilometers from north to south and 6.8 kilometers from east to west.

The park is located within the karst region of Southwest Guangxi and South Guizhou—one of China’s 35 priority biodiversity conservation areas—and the Southeast Yunnan–Southwest Guangxi region, which is one of China’s three centers of plant endemism. It is adjacent to the Bose Dawangling Autonomous Region-level Nature Reserve, Chengbi River Reservoir National Key Wetland, and Bose Reservoir Wetland. It forms an important part of the bird migration corridor between the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the hilly regions of South China, featuring rich biodiversity. Establishing a national wetland park helps protect this migratory bird corridor and preserve biodiversity.

The pilot site of Bose FuLu River National Wetland Park boasts abundant historical and cultural resources, including revolutionary culture, ancient Baiyue trail heritage, FuLu ancient town culture, century-old tree culture, Zhuang folk songs and opera culture, as well as distinctive ethnic rice-farming traditions. Establishing a national wetland park aids in surveying and restoring wetland resources, providing residents and tourists with an ecological education base to learn about wetlands and experience the joy of a healthy wetland environment.

The pilot site of Bose FuLu River National Wetland Park is less than 10 kilometers from the urban center. With villages, rice fields, reservoirs, ponds, and rivers arranged harmoniously across the wetland landscape, the area offers picturesque pastoral scenery. It serves as an important window into Bose’s ecological civilization efforts and holds great potential as a flagship ecological demonstration brand. Developing the national wetland park helps enhance Bose’s image as an ecological city and promotes sustainable economic and social development in Youjiang District.
