Mount Ao

Located 1.7 kilometers southeast of Chenwang Village Committee, Sishan Township, Xingbin District, Laibin City, Guangxi. It is accessible via a secondary highway and is about 40 kilometers from the city center. It is a natural scenic tourist spot. The mountain stretches approximately 3 kilometers in length, with the main peak at an elevation of 458 meters. Its shape resembles a sea turtle (Ao) lifting its head as if ready to leap, and the mountain runs north to south, about 3 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide. There is an “Ao Mountain Temple” on the mountain, which enjoys a reputation across Guangdong and Guangxi. The site is one of the former Eight Scenic Spots of Laibin. The scenic area is well-vegetated, offering beautiful scenery, and mountain springs flow year-round.
