Laibin Pangu Park

Pangu Park is located in front of the administrative center building of Laibin City, covering a total area of 9.9 hectares. The architectural style is essentially that of a landscape lake. In addition to a water surface of about 3 hectares, nearly a thousand seasonal plants such as mango, almond, metasequoia, and liriodendron saplings are planted along the lakeshore, complemented by rockeries, and there are also 12 artificial peach tree landscape light lamps installed by the lake.

The park features a rather unique landscape music fountain system. This system is installed in the lake, with pipes buried underwater extending in a triangular pattern. The fountain pipes, with a diameter of 300 millimeters, total over 4,000 meters in length, with the longest pipe stretching 192 meters, shooting water jets as high as 100 meters into the sky. The fountain design includes a water screen movie, enhanced with colorful lighting effects and musical functions, creating a vibrant and dazzling display.

Even more uniquely, the landscape music fountain system not only has a water screen movie but also adds a “dance of water and fire.” Natural gas pipelines have been laid in the lake to supply gas, with over 10 gas nozzles installed along a section of pipeline over 30 meters long. Each time the fountain is activated, the gas pipelines are ignited electronically, setting the gas ablaze, resulting in flames bursting from the water, creating a spectacular fiery spectacle.

Connected to Pangu Park is a several-kilometer-long water channel, known as the Laibin Urban Central Greenbelt. Nearly 4,000 plants such as mango, almond, and metasequoia have also been planted along both banks of the water channel.
