The Pangu Cultural Ecotourism Scenic Area is situated on the banks of the Qingshui River in Behe Village, Liangtang Township, Xingbin District, Laibin City. The islet is shaded by dense greenery, the river is transparently clear, and the bed is dotted with peculiar rocks. Century-old banyan and longan trees on either bank offer thick shade. The area also contains over 600 acres of orchards with waxberry, longan, and sugar orange trees, plus more than 1,000 acres of pollution-free vegetable fields, creating a picturesque landscape where trees encircle the river and the river winds around the trees, all filled with the fragrance of fruits. It boasts a rich heritage of Pangu culture, making Behe Village truly the “Number One Ecological Village in Central Guangxi.” With abundant ecological resources, stunning natural scenery, and profound cultural roots, it is an exceptional destination for exploring Pangu culture. Covering 880,000 mu, the scenic area is 19 kilometers from downtown and enjoys excellent location advantages with convenient transportation.

In the ancient yet vibrant land of Laibin, there is a rich cultural foundation and distinctive ethnic cultural features. As early as over 30,000 years ago, the ancestors of the Zhuang people—the Qilinshan people—thrived here. To this day, the area preserves the indigenous Pangu culture centered around the Pangu myth, including Pangu temples, place names, festivals, songs and dances, and traditional scripts. The Laibin Pangu Cultural Ecotourism Scenic Area was designed and built upon the legacy of Pangu culture, integrating cultural tourism and leisure tourism. Centered on the two major themes of Pangu culture and ecotourism, the area mainly showcases the connotation and heritage of Pangu culture through features such as natural landscapes like Fish Island and Turtle Entering the Sea, as well as cultural elements like the Pangu myth, Pangu Temple, and Pangu folk songs. Built to the national 3A-level scenic area standard, it serves as a high-end cultural and ecotourism resort in Laibin.
