Dayaoshan Bandit Suppression Memorial Park is a classic red tourism destination.

Dayaoshan Bandit Suppression Memorial Park is situated in the western part of Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County.

From January to March 1951, the Chinese People's Liberation Army launched the nationally renowned Dayaoshan Campaign against the bandits entrenched in the Dayaoshan Mountains, eliminating over 40,000 bandits and completely dismantling the command center of Guangxi’s bandits. During the campaign, 257 soldiers of the PLA sacrificed their lives. In the spring of 2003, the People's Government of Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County secured funding from the Autonomous Region Department of Civil Affairs to build the Dayaoshan Bandit Suppression Memorial Park, providing a place for people to pay tribute and remember the martyrs who fought the bandits.

Located in the suburbs of the county town, Dayaoshan Bandit Suppression Memorial Park covers an area of approximately 19,000 square meters, with building space taking up about 4,000 square meters. At the western end of the park’s center stands the Dayaoshan Bandit Suppression Monument. The monument consists of five parts: the main body, base, platform, railing, and steps, covering a construction area of 598 m². The monument is 12 meters tall, with a red five-pointed star at the top, symbolizing that the PLA soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Dayaoshan suppression campaign will live forever in the hearts of the local people. The main body is built with white marble and light red granite, with the front inscribed with “Dayaoshan Bandit Suppression Monument” and the back with “Bandit Suppression Martyrs Immortalized for Eternity.” The base is square-shaped, constructed with white marble and dark green granite. The front features an inscription plaque erected by the CPC Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County Committee and the People's Government of Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County, while the back describes the overview of the Dayaoshan bandit suppression. The left side lists key bandit suppression strategies and the names of major leaders who directed the campaign, such as Ye Jianying, Tao Zhu, Zhang Yunyi, and Li Tianyou. The right side displays an excerpt from the Guangxi Military Region’s Key Bandit Suppression Plan for the Dayaoshan Mountains in Northern Guangxi. The platform of the monument is paved with yellow oil bricks, giving it a solemn, dignified, and respectful appearance. Eight steps face each of the four cardinal directions—east, south, west, and north—and are enclosed by white reinforced concrete railings. To the east of the monument, there is also a memorial pavilion.
