Qihu Mountain Villa is located in Xishan Village, Pingnan Town, Pingnan County, 1.5 kilometers from the urban area and 500 meters from Pingnan Historical People's Park. The secondary road of National Highway 321, the Yulin–Liuzhou route, passes right by the villa’s entrance gate. It is a diversified resort integrating specialty dining, accommodation and vacation, leisure sightseeing, pollution-free vegetable and fruit cultivation, horticultural planting, and specialty animal husbandry. The first phase of the project invested 3.8 million yuan. Construction of the farmhouse-style dining and lodging facilities began in 2009, with a trial opening on January 1, 2011, and official opening on May 2011. Surrounded by lake and mountain scenery, the environment is beautiful. The villa holds all necessary permits, has a full team of professionals, and is equipped with complete facilities. The second phase, including a resort village, children’s playground, ball court, swimming pool, and medicinal hot spring, is under planning.

Qihu Mountain Villa is surrounded by mountains on three sides and features four naturally advantaged ponds and lakes. The main lake's Qihu Island is covered with ancient trees, shaded by bamboo, and dotted with striking rocks. Around it lie ten acres of lotus ponds, a hundred acres of rice fields, and a thousand acres of high-yield, premium longan and lychee orchards. The villa makes the most of its lakes, hillsides, and valleys nestled between water and mountain—without disrupting the original ecology. Using local materials such as colored bricks, red tiles, bamboo, wood, and fir bark, it creates distinctive farmhouse-style architecture. Pavilions, small bridges, flowing water, sightseeing and leisure areas are thoughtfully placed among the islands and lakes. There are also exotic flowers and plants, an artistic bonsai garden, exhibitions of famous calligraphy and paintings, antique treasures, and a natural pyrophyllite stone forest. A small zoo, fishing spots, fish-viewing areas, and boating zones are available. The resort includes Pingnan’s unique seasonal Shixia longan and March lychee picking areas. There is also a pollution-free vegetable base featuring organic farming practices—no chemical fertilizers or pesticides—and self-sufficient animal husbandry that raises chicken, duck, goose, fish, and pig on nothing but farm-grown feed. The villa highlights a garden-style farmhouse ambiance, offering tranquility away from the hustle and bustle—perfect for leisure vacations, family gatherings, and business meetings. It is a rare gem on the Xunjiang Plain and a uniquely distinguished landmark of Gongzhou.

Built and furnished to farmhouse standards, the dining area features 13 independent private rooms ranging from 30 to 100 square meters, plus a 300-square-meter multifunctional business conference hall that can accommodate up to 600 guests for dining. The guest accommodation area offers 13 farmhouse-style rooms with 36 beds. The total construction area is 2,800 square meters. Two shaded parking lots cover a combined area of 3,380 square meters and can accommodate 280 vehicles. All grounds are paved with cement concrete.

Qihu Mountain Villa has a well-structured organization. Its 56 staff members across departments—including administration, kitchen, logistics, front desk, service, utilities, and security—all come from nearby villages. Each has their defined role, working systematically and collaboratively to provide warm and attentive service. The philosophy of the Qihu team is “fully ecological, purely environmental, with specialty cuisine, health and wellness, and leisure sightseeing.” The six major culinary sections are: “1. Open-fire cooking in earthen pots every day of the year—steaming, braising, roasting, stewing, stir-frying; 2. Healthy and eco-friendly sashimi from deep-sea and river fish; 3. Traditional farmhouse stir-fries; 4. Homemade farmhouse snacks; 5. Health-focused farmhouse grains, cereals, and pastries; 6. Fully ecological, wild, pollution-free seasonal fruits and vegetables.” These offerings elevate the farmhouse dining experience.
