Qihu Mountain Villa is located in Xishan Village, Pingnan Town, Pingnan County, 1.5 kilometers from the urban area and 500 meters from the Pingnan Historical People's Park. The secondary road of National Highway 321, which runs from Yulin to Liuzhou, passes right by the entrance gate of the villa. It is a diversified resort integrating distinctive dining, accommodation and vacationing, leisure sightseeing, pollution-free vegetable and fruit cultivation, horticulture, and specialized breeding. The first phase of the villa involved an investment of 3.8 million yuan. Construction of the first phase, featuring farm-style dining and accommodation, began in 2009, with a trial opening on January 1, 2011, and an official opening in May 2011. The villa boasts beautiful lakeside mountain scenery, complete licenses, a professional team, and well-equipped facilities. The second phase, including a resort village, children’s playground, sports hall, swimming pool, and medicinal hot spring bath, is currently under planning.

Surrounded by mountains on three sides, Qihu Mountain Villa features four naturally gifted ponds and lakes. The main lake includes Qihu Island, which is shaded by ancient trees, bamboo, and rugged rocks, surrounded by ten acres of lotus ponds, a hundred acres of rice fields, and a thousand acres of high-yield, premium longan and lychee orchards. The villa makes full use of its hills, water bodies, slopes, and valleys without compromising the original ecology. Using locally-sourced materials such as colored bricks, red tiles, bamboo, wood, and fir bark, it has created distinctive farmhouse-style architecture. Decorative pavilions, small bridges over flowing water, sightseeing and leisure areas are thoughtfully placed among the islands and lakes. There are also exotic flowers and plants, artistic bonsai gardens, exhibitions of famous calligraphy and paintings, collections of antiques and treasures, as well as natural maifan stone forests. A small zoo, fishing spots, fish-viewing areas, and boating zones are available. The villa offers a unique picking experience for Pingnan’s seasonal Shi Xia longan and March lychees. There is also a pollution-free vegetable base that uses only organic farm fertilizer and no pesticides. The self-sufficient livestock and poultry farming base raises chickens, ducks, geese, fish, and pigs, all fed only on natural farm feed without any additives. With its garden-style design highlighting farmhouse characteristics, tranquil surroundings, and distance from the hustle and bustle, Qihu Mountain Villa is an ideal place for leisure vacations, family gatherings, and business meetings. It is a unique gem on the Xunjiang Plain and a distinctive landmark of Gongzhou.

Built and furnished to farmhouse standards, the villa’s dining area features 13 independent private rooms ranging from 30 to 100 square meters, as well as a 300-square-meter multifunctional business conference hall that can accommodate up to 600 guests for dining. The lodging section includes 13 farmhouse-style guest rooms with a total of 36 beds. The total construction area is 2,800 square meters, and there are two shaded parking lots covering a combined area of 3,380 square meters, able to accommodate 280 vehicles. All grounds are hardened with cement concrete.

The villa has a well-structured organization. Its 56 staff members across departments—including administration, kitchen, logistics, front desk, service, utilities, and security—are all hired from nearby villages. Each employee performs their designated role efficiently, ensuring a warm and attentive service for guests. Indirect infrastructure projects and planting activities provide employment for over 100 local villagers. Since its official opening in May, the villa has hosted 60,000 visitors in just six months, including 256 foreign guests and 5,600 compatriots from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Total revenue reached over 2.8 million yuan, with tax contributions of 86,000 yuan. The existing three mountain ponds and one reservoir are used for lotus cultivation and fish farming. Leveraging the hundred-acre longan orchard and thousand-acre lychee plantation as highlights, we have developed dedicated sightseeing and fruit-picking routes that leave visitors enchanted and filled with joy. Before and after opening, Pingnan TV, Gongzhou Network, Shangyu, and other media outlets have extensively covered the villa, making it widely known among local residents. Visitors have come in an endless stream, and the unique environment and warm hospitality have left a deep impression on all.
