Danzhu Town: Danzhu Town has a long history. According to the Pingnan County Annals, from the second to the twelfth year of the Zhenguan era in the Tang Dynasty, it was the seat of Qinchuan County. By the Republican era, it was known as Beiyi District and later became Danzhu Port. In January 1950, when the People's Government of Pingnan County was established, it was called Danzhu District. In September 1984, it was renamed Danzhu Town. The town currently administers eight villages and one street, and is one of the key towns in Guangxi.

Danzhu Town is located on the northern bank of the Xijiang River in the eastern part of Pingnan County, covering a total area of 94.34 square kilometers. It borders Chima Township to the east, Wulin Town to the south, Donghua Township to the north, and Pingnan Town to the west. The town has a total population of over 60,000.
