Shangdu Subdistrict: Located on the southern bank of the Xunjiang River in the central-western part of Pingnan County, Shangdu Subdistrict faces the county town across the river. The Pingnan–Zhenlong secondary highway runs through the area. In August 1987, Shangdu Township People’s Government was established after separating from Huan Cheng Township.
