Changqi Longevity Village

Known as China’s “Hometown of Longevity,” the ancient village of Changqi in Lubao Town, Sanshui District, has long been famous. The village retains over a hundred structures from the Ming and Qing dynasties, and is the largest and best-preserved ancient village recently found in Lubao Town.

Lubao Town is situated in the central-northern part of Sanshui District, Foshan City, right in the heart of the Pearl River Delta. Historically a commercial hub, it is often dubbed “Little Guangzhou.” The town boasts a profound cultural heritage, including historic sites such as the Xujing Ancestral Temple, Hongsheng Temple, and Guan Di Temple, all with over 800 years of history. It is also home to the Changqi Ancient Village, which has earned the title of Guangdong Province’s Ancient Village. In addition, Lubao features strong modern elements, with attractions such as the Sanshui Hot Spring Resort, a golf course, and the Xingyue Water City project (formerly known as Outlets). In recent years, Lubao has been honored with titles such as “National Key Town,” “National Health Town,” “National Ecological Township,” “Guangdong Province Model Livable Town,” “Guangdong Province Tourism Characteristic Town,” and “Guangdong Province Strong Education Town.”
