Immortal’s Hall

The Immortal’s Hall is a cultural tourism attraction.

Below the secondary peak of Yaogu Mountain, there is an Eight Immortals Hall. Legend has it that long ago, when the Eight Immortals were crossing the sea, they took a rest here. Seeing that this mountain stood directly opposite the Old Dragon Pool on the main peak and boasted splendid scenery, they used their magic to transform the mountain’s summit into a fork-like peak shaped like an inverted “eight,” as a memento. They also erected a stone tablet beside the peak, known as the Eight Immortals Tablet. Later generations, in memory of them, built a temple here and named it the Eight Immortals Hall.
