The Former Site of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (Xiangyin “Xu Zhengxing Bao Hao”) is a cultural heritage protection unit of Hunan Province.

The Former Site of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China — "Xu Zhengxing Bao Hao" in Xiangyin is located in Wenxing Town, Xiangyin County, Yueyang City, dating back to 1929.

In 2019, the Former Site of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China — "Xu Zhengxing Bao Hao" in Xiangyin was approved as part of the tenth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Hunan Province.

Wenxing Town: Wenxing Town, Shitang Township, Bainihu Township, Yuanjiapu Town, and Changkang Town were merged to form the current Wenxing Town.

Also known as the county seat of Xiangyin, it is named after the Wenxing Pagoda. Located on the east bank of the eastern branch of the Xiang River, it is 72 kilometers from Changsha and 96 kilometers from downtown Yueyang. It borders Bainihu, Shitang, and Xianglin townships to the north, Changkang and Yuanjiapu townships to the east and south, and faces Helonghu Town across the eastern branch of the Xiang River to the west.
