The former residence of Li Guozhu is located at No. 58, Central Lane, West Street, Zhiquan Community, Chengguan Town, Jiahe County. Originally built in the second year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty, it faces east and covers an area of 166 square meters. It is a two-story independent courtyard, measuring 12.4 meters in width and 8.2 meters in depth, with a flush-gable roof, blue bricks and tiles, and a brick-and-wood structure. It remains relatively well-preserved. Currently, the two wing rooms on the north side of the residence belong to the descendants of Li Guozhu, while the two on the south side are owned by others. In January 2011, the provincial government designated the former residence as a ninth batch provincial-level cultural relic protection unit in the document Xiang Zheng Han [2011] No. 21.

The tomb of Li Guozhu is located on Wing-shaped Mountain at Shuiyuan Temple, Bingxue Community, Chengguan Town, Jiahe County. It is categorized as a modern-era important historical site—martyr’s tomb and commemorative facilities. The tomb complex consists of one tomb mound, three stone tablets, and two marker signs. The entire tomb faces northeast and measures 2.5 meters in length, 1.6 meters in width, and 0.9 meters in height, covering an area of 30 square meters. It is covered with cement and remains well-preserved. The central tablet records the life of Li Guozhu; the left tablet was erected by the county Party committee and county — department, inscribed with “Tomb of Mr. Li Guozhu, a Pioneer of the 1911 Revolution”; the right tablet was erected by his descendants, inscribed with “Tomb of Our Father Li Guozhu.” In front of the tomb stand two marker signs: the left one reads “Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit of Jiahe County – Tomb of Li Guozhu”; the right one provides a textual description outlining the history of the tomb, etc.

The original burial site of Li Guozhu was on Aotou Ridge, Fukou Village, Shigao Township. The tombstone was destroyed in 1978 during the construction of the Zhangjiabei Reservoir. In 1983, the county Party committee and county — department relocated the tomb to its current location on Wing-shaped Mountain at Shuiyuan Temple. It was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit in 1986, further recognized as a county-level key cultural relic protection unit in 1994 under the document Jia Zheng Fa [1994] No. 35, and in January 2011, it was announced as a ninth batch provincial-level cultural relic protection unit by the provincial government.

A native of Zhiquan Town, Jiahe County, Hunan Province, born in 1879. In 1905, he studied in Japan at Hongwen Specialized School in Tokyo. He successively befriended Huang Xing and Sun Yat-sen, actively participated in the establishment of the Tongmenghui (Revolutionary Alliance), and worked tirelessly to implement its platform, becoming one of its early key members. In 1908, he returned from Japan, sold family property to establish the Dongxing Paper Company, and secretly engaged in anti-Qing revolutionary activities. Chengguan Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Jiahe County. In 1949, it was part of Zhiquan Town; in 1950, it belonged to Chengguan Town, First District; in 1958, it merged into Zhiquan Commune; in 1976, it became Chengguan Commune; and in 1981, it was re-designated as a town. Located in the southern part of the county, on the west bank of Zhongshui River, it spans 10 square kilometers with a population of 25,000. The town government is headquartered on Renmin North Road. Provincial Highway 1803 passes through the town.
