The Ouyang Clan Ancestral Hall at Feitian Mountain is a cultural relic protection unit of Hunan Province.

The Ouyang Clan Ancestral Hall at Feitian Mountain was originally built in 1761 and relocated in 1914. It is located in the core scenic area of Feitian Mountain, adjacent to Cui River. Covering a construction area of 702 square meters, the two-story, three-hall structure is supported by columns and bracket sets. This brick-and-wood building features blue bricks, blue tiles, horse-head walls, and flush gable roofs, embodying the architectural characteristics of southern Hunan. Its functions integrate worship, --, teaching, performances, and more. With its grand scale, exquisite craftsmanship, comprehensive functionality, and profound cultural heritage, the Ouyang Clan Ancestral Hall holds significant historical and artistic value and has been listed as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit.

The Ouyang Clan Ancestral Hall was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit of Chenzhou City in 2018. At the end of 2018, it applied for provincial-level status, and on February 28 of this year, the provincial government approved the Ouyang Clan Ancestral Hall at Feitian Mountain as part of the tenth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units in Hunan Province. Following its inclusion, the provincial cultural relics administrative department will guide local governments in planning and protecting the site.

A key feature of the Ouyang Clan Ancestral Hall is the strong sense of protection among the local clan community, which has maintained the hall well over the past century. Joint preservation efforts by both the government and the public will be a future trend. Additionally, the ancestral hall is situated within the core scenic area of Feitian Mountain, giving it high cultural and humanistic value.
